Synchronica CEO Carsten Brinkschulte is confident that SyncML Gateway will continue to make headway in the mobile operator space. The research group Zelos found that 15 % of mobile subscribers expressed a strong need for a mechanism to back up contact data and this percentage will probably grow as people depend more and more upon their mobile devices as the primary repository for vital information.
